Mr. Allen Hakimi

Mr. Allen Hakimi joined Technomark Consulting Service Ltd. in the UK at the beginning of 2006, and led the corporate transition to Technomark Life Sciences and being headquartered in the US.

Allen has a diverse background, having spent his entire career in various arenas of drug and business development. Prior to joining Technomark, Allen was heavily involved in entrepreneurial activities, as early as filing patents and the funding of preclinical studies which resulted in successful licensing deals with small and medium pharma, to participating in the spinning out and business development tasks of start-up biotechs from American universities, of which an example is Cognosci Inc.

Allen's other appointments have been with a biotechnology company called Nobex Corporation in business development and project management, during which time the Company executed deals with Elan, BMS, Pharmacia (now Prfizer), and GSK, and beforehand he was with academic institutions such as the Duke Clinical Research Institute and the University of Michigan Medical Center in clinical trial management. Allen attended the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) at which he obtained his degree in Microbiology; he currently lives outside of London while maintaining his residence in Durham, North Carolina.
