Ms. Britt Akermann's versatile background allows her to effectively liaise between the USA, UK, China, and India offices and to manage the corporate operations and growth plan of the Company.

In August 2006, she joined Technomark Consulting Services Ltd. in the UK, and was instrumental in the corporate transition to Technomark Life Sciences and its operational overhaul and strategic positioning. Prior to joining Technomark, Britt gained CRO experience as an executive within the budgets and proposals department of the global CRO, Chiltern International. Before relocating to the UK, Britt was one of the original members with Cape Biotech, a biotechnology funding organization in South Africa, and led the strategic and tactical marketing activities of the organization, positioned start-up biotech companies for external investment, and established a bio-business course and MBA sponsorship program with local business schools.

Britt has published several papers on South Africa's opportunities in drug development and the state of its biotech industry. A graduate of the University of Cape Town in South Africa, she earned a dual degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Honors in Biotechnology.
